Outline

The Primary D&T CPD Package sessions will look at how Design and Technology can be delivered effectively across a school, considering curriculum, progression and assessment.

Delegates will have the opportunity to reflect, discuss and share best practice with colleagues from other schools.

Description

Session 2 will explore how aspects of the D&T curriculum can be taught through topic with a specific focus on STEM.
Hands on activities will allow delegates to explore and play with mechanical systems: levers and linkages, wheels and axles, pulleys and gears.

Outcomes

Delegates will
  • Increase their knowledge and understanding of the D&T National Curriculum
  • Participate in a number of practical activities than can be replicated in the classroom

Booking Information

This is Session 2 of the Primary Design and Technology CPD Package.
This course can also be purchased on a pay as you go basis for £125 per delegate.
Schools who have purchased the 'Support for the Arts' package can access this course at a discounted rate of £95 per delegate.
