Inspire, Create, Achieve

Outline

The Primary Design and Technology Subject Leader Network will look at how D&T can be delivered effectively across a school, considering curriculum, progression and assessment.

Over three sessions, the network will provide delegates with an opportunity to reflect, discuss and share best practice with colleagues from other schools.

Session 1 will focus on leadership and how to implement a rich and engaging D&T curriculum in school.

Through practical activities, delegates will explore what it means to be a D&T subject leader. Participants will explore National Curriculum

Outcomes

Delegates will:
  • Gain a clear understanding of the role and responsibilities of a D&T subject leader
  • Develop an understanding of D&T planning which they can use to support class teachers
