As the needs and requirements of schools and educational settings change, we remain committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people. In such challenging times, it is vital that we work together to ensure that we deliver the range and quality of services necessary for you to provide the best learning experience for Leeds' children and young people.

The Leeds for Learning Exhibition presents an opportunity for you to meet and discuss with our highly experienced officers the broad range of support that we can offer to schools and settings in 2019/20. Our local authority team look forward to working with you to tailor our bespoke services to meet your various and complex needs.

Description

As part of our Child Friendly Leeds ambition, we are dedicated to working holistically with the education sector to achieve the best educational outcomes for all children and young people across the Yorkshire and Humber region. An essential part of this is providing the best environment for children and young people to grow up in – to study, work, and play.

Services present on the day will include: 0-19 Learning Improvement; Health and Well Being; Special Educational Needs and Inclusion Team (SENIT); Educational Psychologists; Attendance Service; Financial Services to Schools; Fire Safety; Residential and Activity Centres; Leeds Museums and Galleries Artforms Music;ArtForms Arts Development; Governors Support Service Schools; HR/School Apprenticeships Scheme; Civic Flavour; Digital and Information Service (ICT4Leeds); Leedswatch; Influencing Travel Behaviour; Health Safety and Wellbeing; Legal Services; Leeds for Learning; Leeds Building Services; Print Management and City Signs; Voice, Influence and Change Team; School Library Service; Independent Travel Training; Fleet Services; Business Support Services; Workforce Development and many more.

Live music will be provided by the four piece acoustic folk pop band, Maia, who are part of the ArtForms Music Live Music in Schools Programme, www.artformsleeds.co.uk/maia/

Outcomes

Attendance at the exhibition will ensure that all schools and settings fully understand the local authority's offer of support in 2019/20 financial year.

Following the event, all 2019/20 traded services represented on Leeds for Learning will be available for purchase through the 'buy it now' function.

Booking Information

The exhibition and registration will open from 11am and close at 1pm. Please feel free to drop in as and when is convenient - refreshments will be served throughout. Please note that this event is being subsidised by Leeds City Council and there will be no charge.
