Primary: Art in the natural environment

Outline

Art, Science and Outdoor Learning!

Description

This half day training course has an art focus, but will explore aspects of science and bring some of the best bits of the outdoors into the classroom.

Delegates will develop their knowledge of how to make the most of the outside environment, utilising materials that can be easily sourced. They will learn simple techniques to explore the art and science of colour in nature, making dyes from natural and household materials and transferring colour from nature to make banners and flags.

This training session is being delivered by Annie Berrington from Get Out More CIC. Annie is a qualified and experienced forest school practitioner who uses the outdoors as a tool to develop learning, motivation, social skills and emotional wellbeing for adults and children.
