Bishop Young CE Student organises Fundraiser for Elidh’s Trust

Lanre Adeleye, a Leeds student, is hosting “Eilidh’s Show” at the Chapel FM Arts Centre, Old Seacroft Chapel, York Road, Leeds LS14 6JB on Friday, July 19, at 7:30 PM.

Money raised will go towards the Eilidh Macleod Memorial Trust.  The aims of the Trust are to build a memorial for Eilidh and the other victims of the Manchester Bombing Attacks, on the Isle of Barra (Outer Hebrides), and to support opportunities in music education (primarily but not exclusively) for young people in rural areas.

“Eilidh was a passionate piper and am so happy to dedicate this show to her” Lanre said.

Lanre currently attends Bishop Young CE Academy, where he has developed his interests in photography, graphic design and web development. In April 201, Lanre took part of the Diana Award Mentoring Programme, which gave him the opportunity to design a website and logo for the group (called the Freedom Walkers), and to produce a video as well.  Following his participation in the mentoring programme he was invited to Facebook Headquarters, California to attend a youth summit.
