KS2 Prehistoric and Roman experience days


Forest School Plus works in collaboration with Herd Farm to deliver KS2 outdoor learning  with a difference. Using the backdrop of three unique replica Iron Age Roundhouses and set in the secure and rural setting of Herd Farm, children are drawn into a living history setting. Tina of Forest School Plus is an experienced Early Years to Key Stage 2 teacher and Forest School Leader supported by consultant archaeologist Ian Roberts. Providing curriculum linked outdoor learning experiences that are knowledge rich enhancing your pupils learning and personal development.

We specialise in Prehistoric and Roman experience days for pupils including:

·        Stone Age Experience
·        Iron Age Experience
·        Walkthrough Time from Stone Age to Iron Age
·        Stone to Iron Age Craft Experience – new for 2019 !
·        The Romans are Coming !

 

FS & KS1 Explorers


We also offer a service to FS and KS1. Herd Farm has a varied environment and working with class teachers Forest School Plus has delivered a range of bespoke Explorer experience full days and half days including:

·        KS1 Geography Field Trip
·        KS1 Time Travellers – Houses & Homes
·        KS1 Story Explorers
·        KS1 Exploring Living Things
·        EY & KS1 Den Building
